Contains NO APE's (APE is shorthand for alkyl phenol ethoxylates. They are a common ingredient in cleaning products where they are used as surfactants. As such - they have been associated with certain adverse environmental/health effects. For example, it has been suggested that they are a suspected endocrine disrupter in that they may interfere with, mimic, or block hormones.
